Fuel truck issue with TFDI 717
« on: July 08, 2019, 01:21:17 am »
With L2, I always get a 100LL truck that comes to fuel my 717 regardless of the airport or parking location, I've also double checked the refuel points etc. Any way to get a proper hygrent truck like I can with every other aircraft?

Not 100% sure but I think it has to do with the height of its wing. I have the same problem with the maddog. The wing is too low for the truck to go under. Maybe when they model the operator to hook up the hose from the ground we may get refueling from the hydrant.

The wing height is precisely the issue.  The fueling point needs to be 3.4 meters high at least.  TFDi 717 doesn't meet this criteria.   I am also hoping that FSDT comes up with a better solution for low wing aircraft at some point

We have confirmed many times that, in order to support airplane with a low wing, a completely new hydrant animation must be made, one that will not use the raising platform.
