Could you please advise how I can solve this problem?

Same problem here. I am running on P3DV4.3, but the installer cannot detect my P3DV4.3

This has been discussed in several other threads as well. The PBR update requires PBR, and PBR is only supported starting from P3D 4.4 and above. You must update P3D to a supported version, in order to use the PBR update.

So you are saying P3DV4.3 and below version are no longer supported, is that correct?

Exactly.

Not really news, since several other developers (most notably, PMDG) already announced the minimum P3D version they'll support with upcoming updates, will be 4.4.

I think supporting up top the second last version, is more than reasonable, since 4.4 was released in November last year, so, if the reason for not updating to it was some other 3rd party software that wasn't updated yet to support it, after 9 months if there's still something not outdated for 4.4, maybe it might be time to question if it's worth still using it in the first place.

The update to 4.5 is free, so I don't really see any reasons for not updating.

Well,

I have updated my prepar to 4.5 version (exact version is: 4.5.12.30293), but installer still show me that Prepar is not installed, screenshot attached:
Could you please have a look?

Note:  I don't have GSX level 2.
Note 2: If I select standard folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager) for install it show that no simularots installed - as it is on my PC (except Prepar3D v4.5) - screenshot 1 attached.

Kind regards,
Oleg

I have the same problem. I can not install the GSX in any way. The installer can not identify the P3Dv4 installation :(

The screenshot posted clearly show the problem, which should have been obvious from the message "P3D4 is not supported by this installer": you are using the FSX installer! P3D4 has now a separate installer.

The FSX installer installs only in FSX and P3D1, 2 or 3. The P3D4 installer installs only in P3D 4.4+

Many thanks for the explanation,

I have used the link provided by Simmarket and didn't know that the links are different for FSX/ old P3D and P3D v4.5. Will try to download from official website.

Kind Regards,
Oleg
