I still see the kernel crash when I exit. I see the .dll file in my computer. Do you think that the kernel dll can be updated, or will I still need to upgrade to win 10?
Some users say they don't have any problems with Windows 7, so maybe this could be caused by a combination of factors. But the issue is, we don't have much chances to check this. Nobody at FSDT uses Windows 7 anymore and today, is not even possible to buy a PC with Windows 7.
I thought the Virtual machine option, and I managed to install a Windows 7 virtual machine. However, after doing that, I tried installing P3D4, but it won't work, since it requires DirectX 11 and both Parallels Workstation and VMWare, which are the best VM around, DO NOT support DX11.
BTW, I like win 7 because I have some hardware that does not like win 10. Some drivers are not available and I need those devices.
Well, it's not that you really "like it". You are forced to use it because you bought hardware which has been clearly abandoned by the one who made it, since they had years to support newer Windows versions.
If it wasn't for that hardware, you would have updated to Windows 10 years ago. At a certain time, Microsoft offered even a free update.
I'm afraid you will have to live with the crash on exit which, as I've said, it's entirely harmless, since at the point the sim has already quit, and Windows will free unused resources automatically anyway.
