GSX-L2 and ORBX Incompatability?
« on: May 30, 2019, 06:18:49 am »
With the popularity of these two add-ons for FSX and P3D, why is there no concerted efforts to figure out the problem and solve it?

It appears that the problem is also occurring in P3Dv4 so there is a fundamental disconnect.  The only solution is to turn off
GSX SODE jetways so that they are not conflicting with ORBX Vector.

This is not a solution....

A real solution is for both programs to allow users to select which of the two are enabling SODE Jetways by settings.  GSX-L2 does allow the
setting, ORBX does not.

Have you approached ORBX concerning this issue?

It would have been best if you said which problem you are referring to.

The only one I can think of, is the elevation changes introduced by OrbX Vector which causes jetways to go up in the air, and this has been discussed so many times on the forum and, of course, GSX already has a fix for it, which is the "Airport Elevation" editing field in the scenery customization page, with allows to fix the issue by clicking the small "Airplane" icon on the top-right of the screen, to fix the ground elevation.
