SODE Supported 3rd Party Airports - a question
« on: May 23, 2019, 12:26:08 pm »
So, if I have airports, say Aerosoft Anchorage or Tromso, which has a config app allowing me to enable/disable SODE jetways, what should I do if I want to customise with GSX level 2 ?

Should I disable SODE in the airport config tool, first ?

Thank you.

The Point is, that you have to get rid of the Jetways anyway, before you can customize an Airport. There are two ways:
- You can disable the SODE Jetways in the Aerosoft Menu. Then Aerosoft uses standard Jetways. (When you replace all standard jeways with the GSX tool, they shoudl be gone).
- I would activate the SODE Jetways and create an "exclude File" (you find a description of how to do that in the maual). Then the SODE Jetways are ignored and you can create your own. You can also find lots of already customized Airports here in the Files section. I found it the better way to activate SODE Jetways and then exclude them. The Airports look a lot better, especially if you did not yet had the time to customize an airport.
