We are a bit late, because it's not just a PBR update, but we added several new features, and for one of them, I'm waiting for a bit of help from Lockheed Martin, to make the feature easier to use. And, at the same time, we are still working in removing all bugs, some of them being 5 years old, and spent some time with several well known airplane developer to add more integration features they required.

It's becoming very likely it will be released together with O'Hare, since some of the new features are required to make KORD better.

So that means a delay of how long approximately? Just a bit annoyed because it has been clearly said to be coming 'soon' and 'this month' in several forum posts..

Yes, it has been clearly said so but, as usual with software, you discover issues, compatibility problems, and sometimes a feature is added at the very last moment, which means to be tested, fixed, and so on.

Some data:

- We have been working on this as if it were an entirely new product, for the past 6 months.

- The current GSX installer is about 1.0GB, and contains both FSX and P3D versions.

- Starting with the PBR update, GSX will have two separate installers, one for FSX/P3D1/2/3, and a separate one for P3D4, with the FSX installer being 1.2 GB and the P3D4 installer 1.7GB, so the total size has almost tripled.

- The manual has grown by another 20 pages.

- This FREE UPDATE is basically larger than the payware Level 2 Expansion.

Take all the time you need.

GSX has become such an integral part of the P3D experience and it has become an 'engine' in its own right, now with Level 2, SODE jetways and aircraft integration. I think the community should be more appreciative of how far GSX has come since its first release, most of which completely for free. I still remember the very first previews all these years ago, of the secret project FSDT was working and now we take it for granted on every flight and every P3D update.

Thank you for all your continued efforts.

I understand the frustration of not getting an anticipated release. I however appreciate that updates are tested as fully as possible and all known bugs have been fixed before release. And the best part this improvement is free. Greatly appreciated.
