In order to see passengers, the airplane must have both stairs and a bus. Stairs can be either from GSX, or embedded in the airplane but, if they are embedded in the airplane, they must be configured as such in the GSX airplane configuration editor.
Look at Page 48 of the GSX manual, the "Embedded Stairs" chapter, which I assume you'll likely need for such airlpane.
