FRESH INSTALL
« on: November 12, 2018, 11:57:30 am »
Hi,

I did a fresh install of WIN10, FSX-SE and P3Dv4 over the weekend.

I now have the following installations and path's:

Drive C: has WIN10 and P3Dv4 in subfolder FS P3d installed

Drive D: has Steam and FSX-SE in subfolder FS FSX-SE installed

I would now like to install my FSDT products (GSX and GSX Level 2) onto both simulators. Is there anything I should do during the installation process? Does the installer request the folder/path of the simulator(s) root directory so it can be installed in either simulator?

Thanks for reply

Since more than one year, GSX ( and every other FSDT product ) doesn't install anymore inside the root of the simulator but, instead, it uses a shared folder where all FSDT products will end up together, using hard drive space only *once*, regardless of how many simulators you have installed, and their actual location, that doesn't matter.

Sorry for the 2nd post.
But I have a difficult time finding my post(s). So I did a search for "Juergen2" and this post "Fresh Install" did NOT show up. So I thought it didn't get posted.
How can I find just my posts?
Thanks
