Jetways not lining with the aircraft doors bottom edges (737)
« on: October 28, 2018, 09:05:31 pm »
Hello;
1. Wondering if there it's a remedy available to align or adjust the Jetways bottom platform edge (Up-Down) correctly with the bottom edge of the aircraft doors when activated?....Note: Both connect at the correct position but not right height. Try different types in the menu available but no success. Try also random payload capacities but problem persist.
Passengers images look correctly in scale to fit through doors when de-boarding but not when boarding (height).

2. Curious; Doors in the interior of Jetways do not open at all correct?

They surely do.

So the problem is the airplane configuration then, the door is not probably set to the correct height.

This is not very clear. Passengers are of course exactly the same and they look identical in boarding or deboarding.

No, they don't.

*They surely do..... What would that procedure be Sir?? reviewed the manual and could not find the steps or procedure to follow.

*As you view the passengers heading out the aircraft their heights are suitable enough and would not run their heads on the way out but Yes on the way in. Therefore I think that the position height of the jetway would be a factor.....correct?

There's nothing to do. If the airplane door is set correctly, the jetway will line up with it correctly. And, this is not even something that is controlled by GSX. It's done by SODE so, the only possible reason for a jetway not lining on the airplane door, is the airplane door is not set correctly in GSX.

That's the only possible explanation.

Are you using a small airplane, like a business jet ? All passengers animations weren't made taking into account the chance that on some airplanes the door would require a bit of crouching. It might be something for a future update.

Thanks for the info, guidance on reply.
Will do some adjustments on with the objects position and jetways to see what occurs. To answer your question, I have being using 737 & 747 for now.
