GSX2: Questionable effects

I have installed a 2nd jetway and a wall-mounted visual guidance to gate 4 at YSCB.  Gates work correctly to 2 left doors of PMDG v3 747.  But, why is my user added jetway attached higher than the default?  (see #1 in attached image).  Also, why am I not seeing any readout on the guidance screen (see #2 in attached image)?  I have tried several  different wall mounted guidance systems and all just display black screen.  I have FSX SP2.

The guidance system only works when you are parking, not when you spawn in. When you taxi in from the runway, and you request parking services, the wall mounted system is activated.

Good to know.  But I tried from a distance away to request that gate and still no display on the guidance screen.  And if it is only as you say, then then guidance system is blank when the aircraft is parked before loading(?).  I selected "warp me there" so maybe I have to actually taxi into the gate.  I will try that.  Still wondering about the multiple jetway elevation issue, however.  I have never seen one higher than the other in the real world.

Resolved the issue.  I didn't realize there was a "high" variation to the jetway style I had selected.  Once I made them both the same the problem was solved.  So far this is trial and error.  I still wonder how to connect two jetways so that they don't pass through each other when they deploy.  But that is for another thread.
