Cargo loading not working with Airbus 321 (P3Dv4/GSXv2)
« on: October 08, 2018, 10:19:30 pm »
Hi,

on the new Airbus A321 from Aerosoft GSX is not loading the luggage into the loading compartment. Except that everything works fine, passengers are boarding, Stairs are arriving, etc.,  only the Cargo vehicles are not doing there job, they are connecting to the Aircraft but then I get the message "open Cargo 1" (of course it is already open and I tried to close an open again several times).

This problem only occurs with the older liveries of the Airbus A321. A318-A320 are working fine and also the "new" liveries (created for the A321 Professional) are working without problems.

If you have any idea how to fix that problem please tell me.

Kind Regards

Elias

Are these liveries placed in a different folder than the normal one ? That might explain why GSX is not recognizing the airplane.

No, same folder, and the aircraft is recognized catering and passenger boarding is working correctly

GSX can still work somewhat with no configuration, because it will use data from the aircraft.cfg. Fact he named the door "Cargo 1" (which is the default name), instead of "Front Cargo" or "Aft Cargo", which are the names we customized in the GSX internal database for the Aerosoft Airbus, indicates GSX hasn't loaded the internal database, most likely because the airplane is not in the normal folder.

Or, more precisely, the old liveries you said are the only one that don't work.

By opening the Airplane configuration page, you can check from where GSX is taking its data from for that airplane.
