multiplayer carrier ops?

Hi all, I have been searching for a whole day for an answer to this seemingly simple question:  Is it possible to have multiplayer carrier ops on a moving, trappable carrier in Acceleration?

I have seen the sandbox carrier at Norfolk in single player, and it is not there in Multiplayer.  I've tried multiplayer on the Carrier Practice mission - no joy.  Am I doing something wrong with my settings, or is it just not possible?

Carriers in Acceleration are static AFAIK.

Hey ruprecht,
I dont know if this will solve ur problem but there's a topic called "aircraft carrier" and one guy listed about three different places where carriers are and leave from. he said they leave port then u can take off and land on them. i dont know if that works in multiplayer, i havent tried, but just lettin u know.

Chappy: Carriers in certain places (e.g. Norfolk) are mobile in sandbox play, but they're not there in multiplayer
BlakTiger: Norfolk (where these pics were taken) is one of those places.  The carrier certainly does leave port and one can take off and land on it - but it is definitely not there in multiplayer as the pics show.
