GSX Level 2 - Configurator **SOLVED**

Hello,

just buy and install the GSX addition Level 2 yesterday. After install i tried to open the configurator
on the desktop. After click it search to the bgl file for FSX and open multiple windows with this message.
I’m wondering because i haven’t install FSX - I’m on P3D 4.3.
Re install and update does not help.

Any ideas ?

Have you installed the dangerous P3D migration tool perhaps ? It creates a fake FSX install, which will of course confuse proper software that needs to recognize all the different simulators.

If yes, disable and uninstall that tool. Also, if you had FSX once, and removed it, maybe you still have its keys in the registry (happens if your remove FSX without running the Uninstaller), which must removed.

thank you - that´s the trick. I have some old FSX files on my PC. I delete it all and now it works.
