This has been discussed and answered so many times already. In order for passengers to show, the following is required:
- The Level 2 must be active, of course.
- If the gate has a jetway, it must be a SODE jetway. Either one replaced automatically by GSX, or one you replaced manually on a 3rd party scenery, following the procedure explained in the manual and in the video tutorial posted as a stick thread in this section.
- If the jetway satisfies the above requirements, if it's opaque, you won't see passengers unless you go inside it, using some kind of camera utility.
- If the gate if a parking in the open, in order for passengers to be seen, they require BOTH a Bus AND some stairs. I don't find this as an unreasonable requirement...
- If the airplane is not correctly configured (for example, one that is not already included in the GSX internal data), it MUST be configured correctly using the airplane configuration utility in GSX, by placing all doors correctly.
- The airplane MUST have at least one exit, and it MUST be either Exit 1 or Exit 4. If you configure an airplane using Exit 2 or 3, but without Exit 1 or Exit 4, passengers won't appear as well. The position of the Exits in airplane diagram on the airplane configuration utility doesn't have to match the actual position of the doors on the plane so, for example, if you have a plane with only one passenger exit in the back, you can call it Exit 1 (or 4), and it's perfectly fine.
- The BUS must come. If the parking spot has been flagged with the option "Disable Passenger Bus" in the GSX parking customization page, the Bus won't come, and thus Passenger won't appear. We still don't support passengers walking to the terminal, which is a planner feature, but requires quite extensive changes to the parking editor so, for the time being, if the Passenger Bus is disabled, Passengers will be simulated, just like the original GSX.
