disable tow truck

Hello. I want to disable pushback truck for one parking position. I set <None> in the direction of pushback in editor, but it still appears.

I also tried to get it away completely but it seems, its always there. Could this be implemented in a future release? There are a lot small airports where shuttle turboprops just drive in and depart straight forward without the need for a pushback. So the truck should not be there at all.

It's entirely correct that setting the Pushback preference to None won't disable the Pushback truck, since when the preference is None, there's always the chance to ask for a Straight pushback.

Why you want to disable the truck ? If you don't require Pushback with a truck, just don't ask for it.

If you really want to simulate reality, use the GSX customization page to place it in its proper spot, like a common ground vehicles parking space, for example.

Nothing forces you to have the pushback truck set close to the parking you are editing and, since only one set of GSX vehicles will appear at any given time, nothing stops you from using the same location for multiple parkings.
