GSX and 4.3

Folks,

How to correctly update GSX for 4.3...run the installer from the scratch and then run FSDTUpdate OR just run FSDTUpdate?

There's no update required to use GSX in P3D 4.3, and there's no need to run the installer unless, of course, you uninstalled it.

Running the FSDT Live update will always get the latest version of every FSDT product you have installed, but it's not a requirement to use it in P3D 4.3, it's just to be sure you have the latest version of everything.

In control panel i can see FSDreamTeam GSX version 2.2.0.2 and when i open couatl liveupdate note i see the last update note is 17th february 2017 ? i have running of course FSDT live update, it is normal ? Thanks

This is entirely normal.  As explained many times on the forum, the version number you see there will only tell you the version of the full installer you used the last time you installed GSX with a full installer.

No, this is NOT normal, because the updater opens this page here:

And the last release notes are for May 2018. Be sure you configure the antivirus and especially the firewall to exclude the Addon Manager folder from scanning and be sure the updater hasn't been blocked.

As I've said, it's not normal, and it's not what I see here. I can see the last version of the page, even when opened from the Couatl Updater. Try pressing F5 when the release notes appear, maybe it's some kind of bug in your internet explore cache setting.

But even if your release notes are not showing the latest version, that doesn't mean the FILES won't be updated, because they don't rely on the default internet explorer cache.

Note that this is relevant anyway, since, as I've said, NO UPDATE IS REQUIRED TO USE GSX in P3D 4.3. The update is only required to get the latest files, which might add new liveries, fix some bugs, etc.
