Possible to De-select requirement for Tug?
« on: June 19, 2018, 12:26:09 am »
Hello,

I'm a very new GSX user and I am quite happy with the product (except for the never ending loading - which I am sure will be fixed)
The future looks exciting as well.
I fly with a Prosim 737 cockpit and I am going through my regular airfields in Orbx Australia and modifying the parking positions to match reality.
At many airports, the B737 aircraft (such as Alice Springs [YBAS] Tamworth YSTW, Wagga YSWG etc.) parks at 45 degrees to the terminal and does not require a tug or pushback or a bus for de-planeing. I've noticed GSX plonks a large tug at 90 degrees to the left. Often it is in a hedge, rose garden, or fence.
If the Pushback option is turned off shouldn't the Tug hide?

No, because the "None" pushback preference, doesn't really turn off pushback, since there will always be an option to do a straight pushback, and it would look wrong if the pushback truck would just pop-out if you decided for a straight pushback on such parking.

Of course, you can customize the pushback starting positions, to make it appear on a realistic place for that scenery.
