GSX Animations not working

I have a problem with GSX animations. The food carts no longer have someone pushing them, they just roll on their own. The ground despatcher at the wing no longer walks but just slides and the parking marshaller is just static.. I tried to reinstall but got an error message saying that the wrong verion of SODE was installed so I went to control panel and uninstalled the only Sim Object Display Engine Listed. I then reinstalled but got the same error message re SODE. What should I do?

Be sure the "Advanced animations" flag is set in the graphic settings of the sim. And, don't use too wide zoom settings.
