gsx not loading after win10 version 1803 update **SOLVED**

Goood day,


Gsx was working fine before the win10 version 1803 update. Today, after I updated win10 to 1803 version . GSx does not load any more in addons menu. Even in addon manager all options of GSx are greyed out except backup serial key option. Hence, i re-installed GSx but no change . what should i do?

ATtached pics. i have default windows defender antivirus.

Followed below option but no change.


Our installers obviously install all the required ones but, we only launch the official MS installers and, if you already have a copy in your system which has a *problem*, the installer will just skip the installation without trying to fix it.

Which is why, a common solution if you have issues with one of these runtimes that prevent a software that requires them to start, is to Uninstall them all, and reinstall them all after downloading from the Microsoft website.

Update:
I have revert back to previous build , so they are working now.
But in the new build 1803 , problem still exist.

1803 isn't even officially out until May8, I know that you can get it but why do it early when it could potentially cause problems?

I received the update via the  normal windows update in win10.

Your screenshot indicates you are using a VERY old version of our software (3.x, more than a year old), while the current one is, 4.5.0.2.  The safest way to update everything to the new version is:

- Uninstall every FSDT addon you have from the Windows Control Panel. Reply YES to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?"

- If you have any Flightbeam products that requires the Addon Manager, uninstall them in the same way

- Download and install every product you installed, using ONLY the latest version of their installers. DO NOT install something older on top of them, after you installed using the current installers.

Carried out procedure as per above and issue resolved . Many thanks. But the OK button is not accessible . I have minimized the taskbar ,but still i cannot click ok button . A scroll bar is required . attached pictures.

The window can be resized, of course. Unless you are running on a very low resolution, like 1024x768 ?

I use laptop . 1366*768 is the max. . I have tried all methods to resize , but  I am unable to change the size to an extent to view the ok button. attached pics

That's what I've said: if you run with a too low resolution, you cannot resize the window, because it's already at its minimum. We'll try to squeeze the UI a bit more to support such low resolutions in the next upgrade.

Laptop users cannot do anything more . another idea is using  scroll bar. anyways, will be waiting for next upgrade.
