Couatl crash **P3D 4.2 bug**

Hi,

I don't know what the issue is, I'm only getting this in the log when Couatl crashes....

"couatl v3.2 (build 3985)
panic log started on Tue Apr 10 12:28:10 2018

problem raised by engine or unspecified addon

I've tried to reinstall the scenery I have the latest PHX, I have the latest ADDON manager for FSDT... and nothing is working I've tried to restart Couatl several times and soon as airport cache is loaded it crashes again.... Only happening at PHX; I departed LAS just fine... soon as I get in the PHX area it crashes Couatl

I didn't see a Couatl forum support so I posted it here.... I have FlightBeam latest version of PHX and I have opened a ticket with them as well to try to get this resolve, please help me.

You two errors don't have anything to do with each other.

The first error is likely caused by still having parts of the old KPHX scenery installed. Check if you still have this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\couatl\KPHX

If you have it, remove it.

The menu acting up by itself has been discussed in many other threads, and it doesn't have anything to do with GSX, it's a P3D 4.2 bug, explained here:

So Umberto thanks for replying however, my C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager is empty ? could it be somwhere else ? And this issue is on FSX:SE just to clarify

** UPDATE****

I have resolved my issue, I just removed everything including GSX and when prompted to uninstall addon manager and all features I selected yes to everything, and did this via " Control Panel ".. Reinstalled everything as admin, reinstalled GSX and bam! loaded in PHX; it rebuilt airport cache and no crash ! so please mark my issue as solved. Thanks

I should have added: "if you installed it in the default folder, otherwise it's elsewhere, in the folder you chose when installing it originally". But I see you already figured it out and fixed it, in the later post.

Yes, you should always uninstall a product using the proper uninstaller in the Windows Control Panel. Uninstallers DO things (clean up, removal of files that should be removed, etc.), and they should be used, if they are provided with a product.

Yes, I fixed this issue I remembered  you helped me before with an issue and suggested that and it fixed it; so I remembered it again and that fixed it again so thank you for all the great products haha I have all your s*** !!! LOL
