Can FSX & P3D airports etc use same files

My apologies if this issue has been mentioned before.

I have FSX and in a new PC I will also add the P3D.

Does this means I need double space on my HD to accommodate both FlightSims as regards to  Airports,

other scenery addons, AI & Flyable aircraft etc.etc.

Is there a FSDT topic which addresses this subject.

All our current installers install all our products in a shared folder, precisely for the reason of not having to take double space to install into two simulators. This is not necessarily true of other products.
