Couatl.exe
« on: July 08, 2019, 04:56:04 pm »
Good morning everyone.

After updating GSX, I can not make it work anymore.
I realize that Couatl is not starting with P3D v4.5.
I have the following error:

Can not connect to Esellerate

I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
I've already given permission to the Addon Manager and P3D v.5 folders.
Nothing worked.

Can you help me?

Did you download the latest installer from the homepage? Because according to you log, it' tries to connect to esellerate and that service will discontinue (I think it has not yet), but still it could be in context with that.

I made a checklist with hints from all post connected to installation problems so far, hope it will help you. Else you have to wait for virtualy to arrive and help you out.

Cheers

This problem doesn't have anything to do with Esellerate servers. It's caused because you, for some reason (and I think I know what that reason might be), have explicitly added some lines in your windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file to BLOCK the connection to Esellerate.

Remove the lines you added, and everything will work as expected.
