I have a favorite DC-3 that I fly on short-hop flights (such as KCHS to KMYR). When I use GSX's pushback tugs, I find that they approach from the front, end up under the body of the aircraft & engage with the tail-wheel, which doesn't seem to be prototypical. So I've given up on using GSX for pushback on tail-draggers, and instead use the shift-P function.
Does anyone have information on how the real DC-3s backed away from the gate? And, can GSX mimic the real method?
