It's not enough the main "Virtuali" folder to be writable, are you sure its subfolders are too ? And, are you sure your current account you are logged in is the one with those permissions ?

The only sub-folder there is "Airplanes" and its set to Full control on my Username.
I'm logged in as the username.

Just wondering in witch file the configurations are saved when customizing an airport?

I checked all the files all are not protected so normally there can't be a problem.

There is one file in the Virtuali folder called "Couatl" and its says following:
couatl v2.0 (build 2315)

Indeed thats the strange thing. I have the same problem on my recent flights but there are no new errors in the file.
Maybe this leeds to the problem cause.

It would be so nice to edit this files manually outside FSX.
I just need to disable the marshaller, stairways and buses on AES aiports and alter the pushback direction and wingspan.
I searched every where, I can't find a solution.

Dear friend, I solved that. ::)
You can see that folder GSX does not exist in path "\AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\GSX" so I just created and now it works. Why that happens only God knows.

OMG stupid me >:( , finally I came a cross this line in the forum and it solved my problem.
Just create the GSX folder manually and it works.
Thank you so much for all help you guys gave me, and again I'm very sorry that came a cross this line so late.

There's no need to create the GSX folder manually, because GSX will create it automatically the first time you customize an airport, this is 100% confirmed to be working.

If it's not working on your system, the only possible reason for this, is that some external program (antivirus, firewall, etc.) might have blocked access to that folder, which is of course not normal and wrong, since that's a local preference folder that your user account should always have access to.

Creating a new user account is not required but, if you do it because you suspect your user account have a problem, you must reinstall GSX, because the installer will have to run under the new user account, to set the proper access preferences to all its folders.

Of course it is, which clearly indicates the problem wasn't GSX. It's likely it should haven been possible to fix it, by checking your user account and your actual file permissions without reinstalling Windows.

Also, you said you created a new user account but, in that case, you had to reinstall GSX, otherwise you wouldn't have write access to the folder which was created (by the installer) with write permissions given to the previous user account. In fact, creating a new user account without reinstalling GSX, is precisely what might cause this problem to begin with. Of course, if you know your way with file permissions in Windows, it's always possible to reclaim ownership of a folder, but it's quite complex so, reinstalling GSX is easier.

There are some cases were you are permanently cut out from a folder, and these are almost invariably caused by file permission changed by security products like antivirus, and sometimes even by virus themselves, even long after you removed the virus, but the file permissions were still there. You can recognize this issue, if you are unable to remove the folder manually. In this case, this free utility here:

https://www.iobit.com/en/iobit-unlocker.php

Can help you with removing any locks/permission issues and will allow to delete any folder. After the folder is removed, you must still reinstall GSX.
