Crashes when trying to edit vehicle location
« on: January 24, 2018, 05:24:26 pm »
I am not sure what is causing this, as this could be a 3rd party, or it could be GSX  :-\

So according to the panic log this is what happens when it crashes while its trying to load the vehicles for this location

couatl v3.2 (build 3894)
panic log started on Wed Jan 24 11:18:54 2018

problem raised by engine or unspecified addon
{'Airport': 'EGLL', 'Requested parking services to': 'Gate 334', 'User Pos': (51.47430321840497, -0.46399262261623003, 29.5868 m, 4.28884 m, 175.61999511718747)}
Estimated number of passengers =  587

--

As you can see it is saying the problem is raised by engine or unspecified add-on:

So these are the add-ons I Have active at times (most of them are FSDT products, the airports don't load unless I am near them to my understanding)
-Airports: JFK v2 , DFW, O'hare, LAX, FLL, Hawaii (all), Houston (IAH)  Not yet installed: Louseville, Charlotte
-GSX
-ActiveSky 2016
Aircraft using at time of crash: PDMG 777-300ER (American Livery)

Is it the possible parking location or could it be something in the PDMG 777-300ER, specifically to the American Livery, as I usually am using United and haven't had this issue with that Livery.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

You don't say which simulator you use.

FSX: Acceleration

Ok, then the issue is like you (or another addon), must have reset/changed the FSX.CFG file, so now it's missing all the paths for our Simobjects which are added by our installer.

Maybe you have some kind of external utility that restore/exchange the FSX.CFG from a previous version, one that was made before GSX was installed ?

Try to run the GSX installer again and see if the error goes away.

Do apologize.

It seemed it was for that one particular parking spot that it had the issue.
