Scenery install order?
« on: February 15, 2009, 09:46:10 pm »
Guys, is there a specific install order for the scenerys. I have JFK, ORD and Zurich. I had ord on first then jfk then yesterday bought Zurich and since then nothing but issues with FSX.  I have since reinstalled FSX and the Service packs. I have installed my other products PMDG, LVLD, Scenerys but not FSDreamteam scenery as when I do it causes FSX to fatal Error.  Ken

The installation order doesn't matter at all, provided of course you are using all the current version of the installers.

The error on FSX start it's a known FSX bug (I sometime get it, for example, with the LevelD DLL), that a newly trusted module doesn't run the first time it's launched. To fix this, just allow the module to run, exit from FSX, and launch it again. If you see the error again, reboot Windows and try it again.

Found my problem. It was not with this scenery. It seems to be with FSuICP the latest beta. Something with my system does not agree with it. Ken
