Soundsetting GSX

Hi GSX Team,


The Problem is when i start gsx to Boarding a hear a strange Sound like a Traktor
in my NGX PMDG Cockpit.
It comes from GSX.
Outside is the Sound not so loud as in my Cockpit.
When i deactivate GSX the Sound is gone.

GSX has its own volume control in its sound settings.

Then the sound you are hearing must come from the sim itself, so it can be controlled by the sim sound volume sliders instead.

Hi Guys,


Someone has a clue how to see which sounds in the P3D v4 run.

When I start GSX no matter what function always runs the sound of a diesel or tractor.

This is very loud in the cockpit.

Outside it is less audible.

If I disable in the P3D V4  under Sound Engine Options, the sound is gone.

How can I find this fool?

Problem ist found.

2 Sound files in P3D V4 Suund Folder make the Problem.

deaktivated and all works fine.
i do not know how this files are aktivated when gsx start to work.
Why only i have this Problem. i think there are many other users with this Problem.

In P3D v4 the GSX sounds doesn't work..
I have set the two .waw files to off. no result

The volume in settings is max.

I have searched for no sounds in GSX forum and no results...

What do I do? Thank you.

So you problem is exactly the opposite of the one discussed in this thread, which complained of sound too loud.

Well, of course no result. This would be the solution to get rid of a sound, not to fix missing sounds.

Of course, since it's not a GSX problem. You might simply have selected the wrong audio device in the GSX Sound settings, which is quite common if you have several audio device, and the default one is not properly set in Windows.

Be sure you have select the audio device you want to use in GSX, then exit and restart the sim.
