GSX Appearing in P3D v4 but not FSX

I have GSX Level 2.

It's always appearing in the addons menu in P3D - but it appears pot luck - whether it appears in FSX or not.

At a guess - I'd say it's only appearing in FSX on about 25% of times I load FSX.

There was an update via the Live Updater a month or two ago, and prior to that it was loading consistently every time I started FSX.

It may be my imagination, but havign done a flight in P3D, the chances of GSX loading in FSX the next day seem much lower.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to "force" FSX loads GSX?

Does it work if you start FSX immediately after running the updater ?

Not sure if it's the same issue but GSX stopped appearing in FSX for me as well.  I reinstalled it, ran the updater, I know it did something because when I launch FSX it asks me if I want to allow the addon, the jetways are missing, but in the Add-Ons menu, GSX is not there.

Again, be sure of the following:

- The whole Addon Manager folder is excluded from the antivirus

- You run the FSDT Updater *after* you correctly configured the antivirus
