Update

I installed the MEM scenery and the addon manager with no errors this time including the new updator.exe you provided.

Now the sim will not start at all. With the addon manager uninstalled, it starts.

I checked my dll.xml and I don't see the addon manager in there, could that be the problem?

Unable to use any scenery with esellerate including FlightBeam and FSDT. Addon manager still causes the sim to crash with it installed. Without it installed, it starts.

See if you have the same problem listed here, in the thread named "Addon Manager crashes Prepar3D v4 **SOLVED*"

Umberto,

Today I returned from a 6-day trip. I reinstalled the addon manager and now Prepar3d starts without issues. I do not know what caused this issue in the first place. I have not added or done anything in the past week to it. Thanks for your help as this is why I am a happy paying customer.

I'm quite sure it was that damned registry key I linked in my previous post. What has changed is that, the updated Live Update now clears up that flag automatically.
