I almost made a full flight from FlyTampa KTPA to fsdreamteam KIAH, in live weather mode. I wanted to get the full effect of cloud coverage, so I made sure to deactivate all scenery except for the two airports I was flying to and from, as recommended by the guys at FLIGHTBEAM when I spoke to them about the use VAS hit I got flying into KSFO where my computer just froze and crashed. Kept all my settings modest, but set cloud density to max as recommended by AS16. No issues what so ever, except as I was coming into my final approach, just clearing below the cloud deck at around 4,000 feet. That's when I stated hearing the bells warning me of low VAS usage. I know it's time to think about upgrading my CPU, and memory sticks, but until then, what else can I do? I was flying the Aerosoft Airbus A320, with FS2Crew, and AS16. I had airline traffic at 10%, GA traffic off, and road traffic at 5%, just enough to have a little realism as I was coming down to land at Houston, but never got there.
