Fueling truck runs into beltloader
« on: March 05, 2017, 07:07:37 pm »
Hello:

I have a small issue since the update that included the new fueling system. When I request fueling for the PMDG NGX (-800), the beltloader for the aft pit pulls back from the pit door but not enough to clear the way for the fueling truck. The truck then ends up parked right on top of the loader. Where is the setting that determines how far back the beltloaders are pulled back during fueling? Thanks!

Best,
Walter Meier

Easy to fix. Just move the starting position of the belt loader. Start with an external view of your parked aircraft. Press "S" to get to the external view. You might need to press the "A" key to change to the correct external view. Go to the FSX menu bar at the top of the screen (press Alt if it is not visible). Click GSX, then click "Customize Airport Positions... ". Near the bottom, click the button that says "Customize vehicle locations". Be careful not to randomly press keys. Press the "F4" key until the loader you need to move is highlighted orange. Now, use the 4 and 6 keys (on the number pad) to move it left and right, the 8 and 2 keys to move it forward and backwards, and the 1 and 3 keys to rotate it. Move it so that it is nowhere near where the fuel truck will park under the wing, or where it will drive as it approaches. When it is where you want it, press the "Y" key to exit the editor, then hit the Apply button.

Good luck!
