Aerosoft Bali (WADD) - FSX version
« on: December 27, 2016, 09:57:42 pm »
I just purchased Aerosoft Bali and when you are under pushback, you move backwards about 5ft and then you are rotated around on your axis until facing outwards at the gate, perfectly on the centreline, and the pushback stops and disconnects as normal.

I tried several times at Gate 18 (heavy), including after rebuilding the cache, re-starting FSX and restarting the computer but the behaviour is repeatable.

The pushback I was selecting was nose right/tail left for a RWY27 departure.

This scenery was just released on 21DEC16 so there is nothing reported anywhere about it either here or on the Aerosoft forum.

I did not try straight pushback as I ran out of night but will do so.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Seasons Greetings.

These kind of problems are almost invariably caused by unusual (or sometimes plain wrong) stuff in the AFCAD, like nodes too close together, overlapping, etc.

You might try a Custom Pushback, were you can manually specify the coordinates of an exiting AFCAD node, instead of letting GSX finding the best one.

Thanks, I will experiment with a custom pushback.

A straight back pushback does work as normal.

Cheers,

A straight back pushback does work as normal.

That's normal, since it ignores the AFCAD entirely.
