Do the taxiway widths in AFCAD affect the pushback?

Hi Umberto,

As per the title, does the width of the taxiway defined in the afcad have an influence on the gsx pushbacks?

I'm trying to get some custom routes to behave how I want and it would be good to know the variables.

I've found the less nodes defined the better it works but for 90 degree turns I need to increase the turn radius otherwise the plane can get spun around and then start to get push forward before finally going back again.

Have you got any tips form when you've done your own custom pushback routes?

Not at all.

You already figured out the main issue: don't make the AFCAD too "busy" with too many nodes or too close together. The simpler the AFCAD, the best it will work, and this is valid for AI too.
