Everything works fine now.

For those users, who had observed the same behavior at their system :
The bug was at my FSX.cfg; there was missing the line to the path "SimObjectPaths.X=SimObjects\Misc"

Hello, I appear to have the same problem but I can't get it fixed, here's what I've tried so far

• Reinstalling all Microsoft visuals 2005
• Downloading and installing the latest GSX setup (Jul 2016) with no antivirus
• Reinstalling Addon manager

You attached to a almost 2 year's old thread: please clarify what do you mean with "same problem". This thread here indicates all known causes for the missing menus for the Addon Manager or Couatl:
