Where is the fuel truck? ** SOLVED **
« on: August 25, 2016, 04:24:08 pm »
Hi,
P3D v3.3.5
Some glitches with fuel truck and bigger cargo loader wheels as seen in attached pictures.
There's anything that can be done?
Thanks ;-)

The issues of missing parts of a vehicle has been discussed many times, and it's never a GSX problem (if it were, the whole vehicle would be missing, not just parts of it), but it's a video driver settings issue and/or a .CFG issue.

Try all the following:

- Update your video driver

- Reset your video driver settings to default

- Reset the FSX settings to default, by removing the following file:

%APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v3\Prepar3D.CFG

This will force P3D to rebuild a new config with all default settings.

No way, all suggestions tested, and nothing changed.
I've never affirmed it was a GSX problem, only asking information based in your experience.
Anyway, all fuel truck is gone, only remains its seated driver.
Thanks ;-)

Which should be solved as I've explained above. Or, at least, it has been solved for everybody that ever posted the same problem so far. Of course, I assume you are using the very latest version of the installer, including all the vehicle updates.

If you don't know or are not sure you have, download the full GSX installer now, which contains everything updated.

Another possible issue, is that you updated P3D but its shader cache hasn't been recreated correctly. Try to remove the following folder:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Shaders

Then wait for shaders to be recreated on the next startup.

The shaders, always the shaders  ;)
I had deleted them before, with no result at all. Also to say, then, I had my old ATI graphics card.
Today I was able to install my new GTX, deleted shaders again, and... Great, like a charm!
Thank you for your kind assistance.

Regards ;-)

Yes, I guess that if you change card, shaders should be always rebuilt.
