"Invalid at the top level of the document" error - XML corrupted.

Hi all, I am wandering if one of you will be able to give me a point in the right direction.
I am using P3D v3.35 and I can not get GSX to load of even get the option in the addon manager.
This is what I get when I try installing it..
Any ideas??

C:\Users\harris\AppData\Roaming\Lockhead Martin\Prepar3Dv3\exe.xml Error on line1, position 46:

Invalid at the top level of the document

Your C:\Users\harri\AppData\Roaming\Lockhead Martin\Prepar3Dv3\exe.xml file has not been modified by this installer

So I have no GSX on any drop down options, but when I open the addons bar within P3D and go to FSdreamteam is says GSX active.

Its not just P3D that's not working. I've got FSX and no luck there either. Been trying to fix it for a few weeks now.

This error has been discussed other times on the forum and, of course, it's not a GSX problem, it's just an indication from the installer your XML is corrupted, so the installer won't dare trying to touch it.
