KMEM PMDG J41 fatal error
« on: June 03, 2016, 01:16:41 am »
I lust downloaded the KMEM demo and coincidently tried to load My PMDG Jetstream J4100 there, I get a fatal error message when the buildings try to load, ramp, gate, runway doesn't matter, My PMDG 744 and all the other planes I've tried work fine so far, also the J41 works fine at all my other FFSDT, C9, and FB add-on airfields.

I'm running ORBX-NA, Active Sky Next, GSX, on a Asus Maximus, Win7 64 with two GTX 460 graphics cards and 16g G.Skill Trident PC3-1700

So, basically:

- All your other planes works at KMEM, the J4100 doesn't.

and

- the J4100 works at other airports, but not at KMEM

I cannot see any relationship. What's the error text in the Event Viewer ?

I didn't have any logs first time around, I uninstalled KMEM made sure my AV software was off then re-installed KMEM with the Admin box checked, I now have too,

fsx.exe
   10.0.61637.0
   46fadb14
   PMDG_BAe_JS4100.DLL
   1.0.0.0
   4ad9011f
   c0000005
   000163d7
   1444
   01d1bd2d6203ce09
   D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe
   D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\GAUGES\PMDG_BAe_JS4100.DLL
   16b2177b-2922-11e6-a252-0862664a2f08
and
 fsx.exe
   10.0.61637.0
   46fadb14
   g2d.dll
   10.0.61637.0
   46fadb58
   c0000005
   00085da0
   1518
   01d1bd2847c2cbe0
   D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe
   D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\g2d.dll
   05df34e4-291c-11e6-b454-0862664a2f08

I decided to load up the default B744 it also crashed with a fatal error I'm looking in to the two .dll issues that are now present..
BTW Airport is awesome I did a preflight in the FedX maintenance hanger with my CS FedX 727, opened the hanger doors and ask for a push, love the effects and sounds very nice job guys...

Add me to the G2D.DLL

Just did a flight from KSDF to KMEM in the Simcheck A300. As I was approaching KMEM and about to make my turn south for a approach to 36R. My sim which never crashes decided to crash on me. I got the following error. Seems like this scenery is starting to not be worth the headache.

 PMDG_BAe_JS4100.DLL

   g2d.dll

These two clearly indicates the problem is happening entirely inside the PMDG airplane. A G2D.DLL crash is most likely related to Gauges.

A crash in G2D.DLL doesn't have anything to do with a scenery ( one in G3D.DLL might, instead ). As the previous post indicates, this is likely some problem with an airplane gauges.

I'll redo the flight today and see if it happens again.

I downloaded the new KIAH everything works fine there with the J41 so its not SODE, I re-installed the J41 and that didn't help, I was thinking about what you said about being gauge issues so I loaded My 747 sitting on the RW at KMEM jumped to outside view then switched to the J41 and (what Ya know) it didn't crash, and yes as soon as I pushed F9 it crashed again so I loaded it at another airport switched to F10 even though it has no 2D panel and loaded KMEM, Crashed lol maybe the crew just doesn't like country music, looks like my Majestic Q400 will have the FBO at Memphis for now..     Thanks

Well I'm 3 for 3 on the G2D.DLL crash into KMEM crashes. Same plane A300, same flight plan, same UT2 traffic, same ASN and same location. Maybe I'll try a fourth time in another aircraft. This is only happening in KMEM. I'm sure it's not the scenery but it happens only with KMEM. I'll keep digging.

If i just load FSX and KMEM in the trike i can get on the ground. BUT if i select ANY other airplanes. CTD . This IS caused by Memphis, as its NEVER happened on my PC in the past.
