[SOLVED] GSX wont install

i have tried step 2 again with no luck. i have looked through the system and the file IS there

I use an add-on that requires this file and it runs fine, that add-on is fspassengers as I haven't experienced any problems with it maybe deleting the FSX.cfg will work so I will try that next time I am on.

UPDATE! i found the coutil logs and it showed this

This is an error likely caused by another addon, causing Simconnect to corrupt its internal state. Some reported to be related to VRS Tac Pak under P3D, see here:

But it might happen with other addons too. Try to disable every module in your EXE.XML and DLL.XML file, except for the Addon Manager (in DLL.XML) and Couatl (in EXE.XML), and see if it goes away.

il try it tomorrow if i remmeber. i found the log while i was fixing the computer yeasterday

turns out fsxse was using the fsx directory for its stuff instead of the fsx-se directory. i copied everything into the other one now, going to do a test on a vatsim flight
