Pushback question
« on: February 25, 2016, 02:19:23 am »
Is there a way to change push back options.
In order to push back one is asked to turn off the engines and start the APU ( for the PMDG-737 )

It seems to me this is not realistic. Can anybody explain ?

Other then that I love this program.

My question was actually if it possible to do a push back without aircraft engines running.
I I remember well I was once in a B-737 and they did the push back with no engines running.

If you mean, in real life, yes, but with the APU on, so you'll be able to start engines during pushback. I don't think many airports will allow to have a plane on the apron or a taxiway in order to start engines at the final pushback position, which (without an APU) would require an air starter vehicle.
