P3Dv3 - Landing Runway 18L - Elevation Problems??
« on: January 14, 2016, 09:37:50 pm »
I was flying today, landing ILS at 18L and noticed as I came in different elevation areas.   It goes across the map to at least the other runways to my right.  I didn't see on the left.

I am running P3Dv3,  DFW v2 and also have Rex Clouds and Textures.

I have not seen this problem, so far, in any of the other fsdt products I have purchased.  I exported a portion of my video for troubleshooting purposes and am hoping you can point me in the right direction of how to correct this.   Otherwise, the only solution I have is either uninstalling DFW or not flying into the airport again.

Below is a video I took:

The problem is not KDFW scenery, but it's a conflict caused by another scenery, most likely a 3rd party mesh scenery:

It looks very similar to this one (the first screenshot, the 2nd one is just blurred textures, which is another issue he had)

The poster finally reported to have fixed it this way:

Happy to say that I solved the problem by (as you said) removing some file from my FSX scenery folder. Just writing to say one more time thank you for you patience and great addons.

Unfortunately, he didn't said which files he removed, but the surely were other addon sceneries he had installed which changed the ground altitude somehow.
