FeelThere ERJ Cargo Door
« on: January 04, 2016, 04:24:49 am »
It is my understanding, unless I'm incorrect.  That GSX now supports left cargo door loading on the FeeelThere ERJ.

However, GSX continues to load/unload baggage from the non-existent right side door.  GSX correctly identifies the aircraft, so that's not an issue.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Thanks,
Ernie

GSX supports cargo loading from the left on ANY airplane. We added SOME of the Feelthere ERJ models in the GSX database.

However, GSX continues to load/unload baggage from the non-existent right side door.  GSX correctly identifies the aircraft, so that's not an issue.

GSX correctly identifies ANY airplane. That airplane MIGHT be already *internally* included in the GSX database with a custom configuration, or it might require your own configuration if it's not included.

The GSX airplane configuration editor has an indication on the top of the dialog, which tells you from which source the airplane configuration comes from, which might be one of the following, in the following order of priority:

1) a "default" configuration derived from the aircraft.cfg file.
2) an AES intelliscene.cfg file
3) the internal database included with GSX
4) an airplane designer-provided configuration in the airplane folder
5) your own customization you made with the editor

After you verify this, you can have a proper idea of the level of support of the airplane and, eventually, create a configuration for it using the GSX configuration editor, which allows to place cargo doors on the left side.
