GSX and UK 2000 Compatibility
« on: May 11, 2015, 02:24:03 pm »
I have read some of the posts relating to UK2000 scenery, but I cant quite decide if GSX "out of the box", is compatible with UK2000 airports or not.

Can anyone advise please?

Thanks
John Earl

There's no reason why a scenery wouldn't be compatible with GSX, as long it has a legal AFCAD with no errors. And of course, you can use the scenery customization page to improve compatibility with any scenery, for example to change the parking radius, the pushback preference, etc.

Ok , I think there is a problem , I also use UK2000 airports and find GSX does not like any of them, It appears to use the default AFCAD files even when the addon is at a higher authority than the default scenery . still trying to get some response frm the forum about this see GSX UK2000 posts

I use GSX with a multitude of UK2000 airports, especially EGNT as it's my hometown airport, and have no problems whatsoever.
Make sure that the UK2000 AFCAD's have a higher priority than other UK airports in the Scenery.cfg file and GSX will use the correct one
