KSEA Aircraft Handling
« on: October 15, 2015, 01:26:04 pm »
I have downloaded a new scenery file for KSEA which contains correct parking assignments in the afcad, however no matter what gate I park at I only have three options available, Swissport, Southwest, or Alaska. Any ideas?

That's normal, since are the ones we assigned to KSEA.

The parking codes in the AFCAD are used ONLY used to "boost" a parking preference, if the operator IS already assigned to GSX, and of course is correct, because atc parking codes in the AFCAD contains many more airlines than the one that operate ground services at an airport, since they include also airline that "just" fly there, so it would be wrong if GSX would display them all.

The PainKit documentation explains in detail how the scoring system works, and how you can change it.

And besides, what ground operators you think are missing at KSEA ?

The only two I know of are Delta and United.

Swissport DOES Ground Handling at KSEA, according to their website:
http://www.swissport.com/network/

Alaska Airlines has the most passenger traffic at KSEA:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle%E2%80%93Tacoma_International_Airport

and it DOES ground handling too:

So, the assignments are correct, we might just add DGS (Delta Ground Services) and United Services in the next update.
