GSX problems with Addon Scenery Cache **SOLVED**
« on: October 04, 2015, 05:29:45 pm »
I have removed an addon scenery afcad that was used by GSX but GSX won't refresh it's cache properly upon restarting P3D and now tries to call it upon initialising at ENZV airport.

System error while accessing file I:\P3D\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ENZV_Xwind.BGL: CreateFile failed: Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden: "I:\P3D\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ENZV_Xwind.BGL" (system:2)

How to make GSX understand that this file is not existant anymore and that fallback file apx49110.bgl applies for ENZV?

Things tried:
1) Removing the old .bgl files from Addon Scenery/Scenery folder in order to have GSX rebuild the cache. It actually happens, but with no effect
2) Deinstalling / Reinstalling GSX. No effect. Ghost files are still being called.

Try to force a complete cache rebuild:

- Exit from the sim.

- Remove the following folder

%PROGRAMDATA%\Virtuali\Couatl

- Restart the sim.
