This sentence is not very clear but, the program doesn't have the "many problems" you are referring, even if you are reporting only ONE, which doesn't happen anyway.

Yes, it does.

Do you SERIOUSLY believe that GSX would be released with a non-working pushback ? ESPECIALLY considering it offered IN TRIAL MODE ?

It's not possible to "throw money in the trash", when a program is offered in TRIAL MODE. And, of course, if the Pushback really "didn't work" (it does), like you say, don't you think that:

1) Someone would have noticed, in the 3+ years GSX has been released

2) We wouldn't offer a Trial with a non-working feature

3) If this problem really existed, we would have fixed it by now, otherwise (since the program is available IN TRIAL!!), we wouldn't sell many of it, with a non working feature, if it *really* didn't work (it does)

No. It doesn't.

Now that we cleared that your sentence doesn't have any sense, and the pushback obviously work, let's try to deal with the problem PROPERLY (instead of saying such nonsense about "wasting your money" ), and let's try to understand why what you are doing wrong, so you mistakenly assume the GSX psuhback "doesn't work".

You said:
"When I do not push back GSX  Not asks if I want to go left or right"

which I assume it means this:
"When I do push back GSX doesn't asks if I want to go left or right wing"

But you don't say if GSX is offering you the STRAIGHT PUSHBACK option at least. If yes, this has been discussed so many times on the forum, and it's obviously explained on the GSX manual, at Page 25, in the chapter named "Pushback Direction". Quoting from the GSX manual:

Quote
Pushback Direction
GSX reads the Pushback preference from the AFCAD file, which can be Left, Right, Both or None. Normally GSX will not allow pushback from a parking position that has its preference set to None, on the assumption the scenery designer had a specific reason to disallow Pushback on that parking spot. But, in case the AFCAD is simply not accurate, this option will allow you to instruct GSX to override the Push- back preference set in the AFCAD with the one specified here.

The latest versions added a "straight" pushback option, precisely for the reason to allow you to have some option, even at those parking with "None" specified as pushback, but you still have the option to override the scenery with GSX customization dialog, as explained above.

So, if you ARE being offered the option for a Straight pushback, it's all normal and you shouldn't complain for something that is clearly explained in the manual and affects ONLY those 3rd party sceneries where the developers (intentionally, or just because they are lazy) forgot to set a proper Pushback preference.

If, instead, you are not even being offered the Straight pushback option, then the problem must be something else, so we can proceed by troubleshooting it.

I've seen in a different part of the forum the same problem the solution you offer unassisted solve the problems presented

I 'm single user who buys a product that should work perfectly without having to go through times of trouble

What do you mean with "the solution you offer unassisted solve the problems presented" ? I don't understand what you are trying to say here.

If with "the solution", you mean using the included parking customization to set parking preference, it works. I don't understand what do you mean with "unassisted". It's an option fully explained in the manual, so you are supposed to use it, when the scenery requires is.

The product WORKS, and it's not clear what do you mean with "go through times of trouble".

What "trouble" ? If the problem (which is NOT a problem) is the fact that, on those 3rd party airports that the developer has set the parking preference to "None", either because he INTENDED to do, or just because he was lazy and forget to set it properly, GSX offers you the ability to OVERRIDE what the scenery indicates, and if there's someone you should blame about the "trouble", is the original scenery developer that forgot to set the pushback preference properly.

Without even mentioning that, if you read the manual carefully, it's clear that, even if the 3rd party airport the developer has set the parking preference to "None", has ALL its parking not properly set, you can easily select them ALL AT ONCE, by clicking the root node of the parking list, and set the Pushback preference for ALL parkings at once, in a SINGLE CLICK.

You must to this only the FIRST time you go on a 3rd party airport the developer has set the parking preference to "None", then GSX will save your settings as an airport customization file so:

1) It's NOT a "trouble", AT ALL

2) It's not a GSX "problem"

3) It can be fixed with the solution explained in the manual

4) It affects ONLY those 3rd party airport the developer has set the parking preference to "None".
