Can you advise the most up to date way to get the GSX to work with Aerosoft Split X.

Flew there last night and didnt have any parking positions.

If an airport has auxiliary smaller AFCADs that might be very close to it, or even inside its perimeter, you must follow a specific procedure to configure GSX for it, which has been discussed here:

Well, of course you don't have any line. Have you read the linked thread carefully ? YOU are supposed to add a new line, containing the codes for these "airports within airports" special cases.

The example was related to an OrbX scenery that had a fake airfield inside the main one named KMRY, so the instruction was to add a new line with airport_visibility_KMRZ = 0

Of course, in your case, the lines would be different.
