Taxiway Bridges Cause PMDG to Crash
« on: July 26, 2015, 06:53:06 am »
Any taxiway bridge the PMDG 737 crosses cause the airplane to crash as if it impacted an object. I tested this crossing the East Bridge, RB Bridge and the SC bridge. Can't believe nobody has squawked this. Really disappointing to set-up a flight and have the airplane crash on a taxiway ...

More specifically, the issue is especially noticeable on the west end of the RA and RB bridges. There are bleed through textures on both of them (however, all the bridges have what looks like continuous or segmented rock formations emerging from the taxiway). I included a screenshot of the bleed through on the west end of the RB bridge. When the main gear hits this spot the airplane crashes. Bad.

Here's another - This is on the North End of the East Bridge. What are these things sticking up through the taxiway pavement? When the main gear hits them, the PMDG 737 crashes?!? Basically, large arteries of this airport are unusable. Did you guys test this stuff??

Try lowering your terrain to 5m in your FSX slider

Your problem are caused by having set your Mesh resolution slider too high. The KIAH manual, at Page 10, indicates the suggested settings, which are 100% Mesh Complexity and 5mt/pixel Mesh Resolution.
