GSX only works for one Flight with FSX-SE?

Hey guys, I did do a forum search before posting this but it kept saying no posts found. Basically my GSX only works for one flight. If I end that flight and head back to the main menu, then start up another new flight the GSX menu doesn't appear when I click [CTRL] + [F12]. Also if I crash or restart the flight using [CTRL] + [;] GSX will also not appear. The only way to change flights is to exit FSX completely and start again which is a pain.

Can anyone please help and tell me why this is happening? (As said in the title this is for FSX Steam Edition)

Have you installed the latest Couatl 3 Public Beta ?

It's needed for full Steam compatibility, and some features like the "Restart" function are known to be not working in the regular version, but are fixed in the Beta.

It's going to be out of beta very soon, but it's absolutely safe to install already, and it's suggested if you use Steam.
