Cannot initialy set airplane to ground in Zurich
« on: June 01, 2015, 11:12:24 am »
Hi all,

I am using P3d and have purchased Zurich airport and ground services.
When starting P3d, I want to set my Airbus A320 to a gate at zurich airport. However, the airplane is located at a height of 1500 ft, which is about 70 too high. It looks like the plane would be hovering over the airport.
When using the "Map" menu, I can change the plane altitude to 1417 ft (which is the correct height) but when clicking OK, the plane remains hovering on 1500 ft.

That's not a problem of the scenery that, as you can verify with any editor like ADE or AFX, has its ground altitude correctly set at 1416.01 feet. The problem is likely caused by another 3rd party mesh.

Try to set Slew mode before selecting a gate, and then see if by moving the airplane a bit in slew mode would load the correct altitude, then you can exit from Slew mode.
