GSX shows active but doesn't install
« on: April 30, 2015, 05:43:52 am »
Subject shows the problem in stand alone, have tried installation 3 times without success.  This is a re-installment, all the airports reupped no problem.

Please advise solution,

What do you mean with "doesn't install" ? Do you have errors while installing ? If yes, which ones ?

Or, you mean it DOES install, but it doesn't seem to RUN in FSX ? If yes, please clarify exactly what happens, any errors, or anything, because it's not possible to help you in any way with such generic description of your issue.

It goes thru the installation process just fine to the finish and when you open fsx add-on it shows as active but it does not say installed which all the airports do.  In running fsx the gsx performs it's tricks one time and then will not return to operation.

I can't describe it any better!  So whats happening?

It's entirely normal that it wouldn't show "Installed in the SCENERY LIBRARY", which is something that is related only to SCENERIES. GSX is either active or not, but it's not supposed to be installed in the Scenery Library, which is the only thing that label indicates.

Not understand you again. What's the "trick" you are referring to here ?
